[Ever since his housemates left, Yuan's found his home to become more and more unbearable. He's considered moving into an apartment more than once, but this place holds too many memories for him. He's lived here for almost three years now- in fact, it was Martel who dragged him here from a community building back then. There's just no way he can leave.

So in order to keep himself busy, Yuan's decided to refurbish his house. Or, rather, he's starting with Zoisite's old room for now and see how far he'll get with that. Perhaps he can turn it into a study. Anything that doesn't say "Zoisite's old room".

That's why he can be seen striding through the village, carrying a few paint cans and other such supplies. What paint color, you ask? It's purple. Yuan's taste is... interesting. He's going through extremes to avoid Mithos, but other than that, any resident is free to run into him.]

Whatever I can find. Besides consistently monitoring some data here, lately, I've been working on research concerning my own world. That's really what all of this is for. With the new formulas I've created, I'm hoping to put it to the test on some minor technology and hopefully work up from there.

Formulas? [He's not even sure what she means by that? Mathematical formulas, perhaps?] From what I've gathered, technology in this place doesn't work with anything like that.

Well you can use your magic here, right? For the formulas I'm working with, it's practically the same thing between magic and other technology. I've had to work on some converting, but otherwise everything so far has been functional.

Is that so...? [The reason he never got magitechnology to work is because he had no way to convert the available technology into something that could process mana. But what if he was thinking too technical?]

How exactly did you do your converting? Are you using formulas for that as well?

Yeah, I am. The formulas aren't exactly the same, but they work pretty much the same way. It's just a matter of variables, really.

I'd been experimenting with this world's technology for a bit, though I always hit the same wall in the end. I'm only familiar with magitechnology, I don't know the first thing about electricity or whether it has the same potential at all. If I could convert this technology to make use of the available mana, things would be a lot easier.

To be honest, I've only just begun to understand the electricity here. But so far it seems pretty straightforward. There's a few major problems I've had while working with it but I'm sure if I can get just a little more time with... hmn.

This magitechnology, it's what your world uses, right?

It is. The Malnosso are apparently able to reproduce it; They provided a magitechnology vehicle once, during one of the drafts. [But he wasn't allowed to keep it and he's still bummed about that.]

That's... If it can be reproduced then why bother taking it back again... I mean, it makes sense when they wouldn't want others to use something like it but... There's still others with... hmn.

Certain technology that's used in our fight against the Third Party simply isn't allowed to be taken back into the enclosure. We're allowed to keep small things, such as medicine or weapons, but nothing too... elaborate.
