[It hadn't taken long for Yuan to notice she was gone. Despite that he'd secured a safe place for her and Cooro to stay, she'd vanished in the chaos. Whatever personal belongings were still left in their ruined house had disappeared as well. All that was left were her last messages, etched into the wall of her room. Not that he cared much what they said.
It wasn't the work of Yazoo, or any other murderous resident he'd been trying to protect her from. It wasn't the work of one of the many demons and spirits that'd invaded the village these past few days. It was the inevitable fate that she'd met twice before. To think this happened only shortly after it literally started raining demons and Summon Spirits... Well, at least she wouldn't have to face all this destruction.
Time to let people know, then.]

To anyone who was acquainted with Martel, she's been sent home.
[That's all he's willing to write. His message may go unnoticed in the midst of all this chaos, but at least he's fulfilled his obligation. If anyone needs him, he'll be inside the ruins of their old house. You know, the one that sank partly into a tunnel and then caught fire because of the electrical wires. Not a particularly safe place to be, but at least he won't be bothered by too many people here. That is, unless they know where to find him. There's a female summon spirit standing guard outside. Good luck getting past her.]

lots of debating and then more procrastinating, Zoisite will be heading over to see how you're doing, more or less hoping he hasn't taken off into the woods because then this is a lost cause and he's going back home.He stops once he sees miss Tall Blue and Icy, though.]

Knowing my luck, she'll[He stops writing and crosses those previous words out to the point where they're illegible. Really, he doesn't know exactly what to say.][Voice]
[He's not going to say that she's better off at home, because he knows better.]

[Well, this was technically the Summon Spirit version of Martel. Somehow, it still feels like she went back to die.]
