[It's Thursday evening and the sun is slowly beginning to set. As dusk falls, Luceti residents who are near the south east edge of the village may notice a peculiar shimmering in the bushes. Like dancing sparkles, if you will. They may easily be mistaken for fireflies, but that is far from the truth.
Yuan has returned from his (silent) kidnapping and mana is literally evaporating from his body. Bright sparkles are rising up from his skin, before fading into the night air. Not to mention the peculiar smell coming from him. Evaporating mana emits a rather unique aroma that's neither pleasant nor unpleasant. The best way to decribe it would be... 'odd'. It's both a curious situation and an extremely embarrassing one, which is why he makes sure to stick to the forest's edge as he slowly makes his way home. He'd reach house 8 a lot faster if he crossed through the village itself, but he'd rather take a detour than make himself the center of attention.
All the way around the northern edge of the village he goes, but the closer he gets to house 8, the more exhausted he feels. Losing mana is like losing life and the more he pushes himself, the greater the fight to stay conscious. He'll get there eventually! Anyone is free to spot the peculiar sparkling man along the way.]

wow so latesfhysudf
So while he still needs a crutch to walk around, he's cut down from two to just one. But this still doesn't make for the easiest travel, especially through the woods...which is precisely why he's in trouble. He'd gone out farther than he meant to, and now he's returning later than he wanted. The village is in sight when his senses are hit by an overwhelming wall of mana. He freezes on the spot, eyes darting around--
...What in the world. A shimmering glow radiates between the tree trunks a few yards away, and.......that's Yuan. Yuan is at the center of it. Mithos stays where he is, unable to move stealthily in this condition. The surrounding brush provides some coverage, and he'll observe the strange sight.]
/claps
He needs to rest again... Leaning back against a tree, he's trying to regain some of his energy. How great it would be to just lie down and fall asleep right here, but he needs to get home before anything else.]
/bows
His eyes slide shut and he starts to silently cast. Even if Yuan notices through the mana that thickly surrounds him, what would he be able to do? He doesn't seem capable of even walking very far. Hey Yuan, think you can handle Holy Lance?
With how severely limited his body is, it will take a while to build up, and...maybe he should have chosen a weaker spell, because this is wiping a lot out of him. But when is he ever going to get this opportunity again? After everything the other has done to him here, all the times Mithos has been shamefully defeated, he can finally deliver the retribution Yuan deserves. He finishes, voice quiet but loaded with malicious intent:] Holy Lance.
no subject
No time to lose. No opportunity to defend himself. He has to run. The sudden exertion is taking a lot out of him- far more than it should- and he falters after only crossing a very short distance. He manages to fling himself out of the spell's reach just in time, but as it explodes behind him he finds himself crashing to the ground. For a brief moment, he can actually taste the dirt.]
D-Dammit! [No time to recover. He has to get up. He has to get away. If only his limbs wouldn't feel so heavy.]
no subject
He takes a few careful steps closer, still maintaining distance, eyes never wavering from the other half-elf. It's a shame he doesn't have a sword handy. He could skewer him easily like this.] Good evening, Yuan.
[He doesn't give much time for him to return the greeting. Another high level spell so soon is too much for his body to handle - which is highly unfortunate and highly frustrating - but he can muster a basic lightning spell quickly enough. Something so lowly...it's more than a little degrading, but if it's toward the cause of retribution? Worth it. Do enjoy that, miserable traitor.]
no subject
This is usually the sort of thing he can handle. Lightning is his element, but now that the mana in his body is in disarray, the magic has a far greater effect. He can't stop himself- he cries out in pain.
And then it's gone again. He's not getting up. He just can't muster enough energy to get up.]
no subject
Did you think you could hide from me? [This is where he would love to grind his boot into the back of Yuan's skull, but unfortunately he isn't quite there in the rehabilitation process. He'll have to settle for shifting his weight further and prodding Yuan with his crutch, intent on pushing his face down into the dirt.]
no subject
Mithos... Stop it. [That's a useless order. He knows it's useless. He just doesn't know what else to say.]
...lamest fight ever lmao
He's in good position to just whack him across the back with the crutch. Without having to worry about falling over now that he's already down here, he can put a lot more force behind it.]
CRIPPLE FIIIGHT!!!
As Mithos falls to the ground, he tries to stumble to his feet again, but just like before, he's too slow. The crutch connects with his back and- even worse- the base of his wings. He cries out in pain and falls back down, catching himself on his arms.]
TAKE THAT! AND THAT!
Stay where you belong! [...never mind that he's on the ground too; at least he's on his knees. Higher than you.]
no subject
And then a peculiar sound reaches his ears. An angry squeak, a flurry of feathers... He looks up just in time to see a tiny owl make a dive for Mithos' face.]
S-Selene.
...and suddenly I notice all the typing and html fail up there
He isn't trying to hit Yuan anymore. He throws his arms over his face to shield it, instinctively curling his body protectively. What in the--?]
P-pfft I thought the italic thing was on purpose
But this is Mithos she's attacking and he'll strike back any second now.]
Selene! Go home!
...yes, let's...go with that
Pathetic creature! [...and who's the one getting beat up by this pathetic creature?]
no subject
As much as he hates to admit it, there's really only one thing for it. That is, to retreat himself and hope Selene will do the same before it's too late. With a last scoff of extreme frustration, he turns to run as fast as he can without exhausting himself to the point of losing consciousness.]
no subject
Disappear! [But not you, Yuan. You get back here.]
no subject
As for Selene, she'll do her best to keep Mithos busy for as long as possible, but she's starting to get exhausted. It won't be long before she has to retreat herself.]
no subject
So when he pulls himself back to his feet, he'll send a rueful glare in the direction Yuan disappeared before being on his way again.]
