Did you discuss the situation at all? Because I think you, of all people, might have noticed...

Albert... thinks he's from Tethe'alla. No, not thinks... is. He even has an exsphere.

[It isn't uncommon for people from different worlds to live together, but the thought of Albert being Raine's housemate if he were not from Tethe'alla is rather... odd.]

Caesar and I have a similar opinion on the matter.

That's... [It's already frustrating enough for one person to have altered memories, but two? Regardless of which notion is correct, things just got a hell of a lot more complicated.]

I wonder just how far these discrepancies reach.

Given the size of the village, it's difficult to say. One would have to poll each person individually.

... I should hope these slight memory modifications don't lead to anything too harmful.

[It's not like it hasn't been thought of. But with the number of people refusing to believe that they were wrong, the amount of people who'd likely ignore efforts... some things there was just no point in doing unless the problem without a doubt would last longer than anticipated.]

I wouldn't call them slight, if people are believing they've lived entirely different lives in some cases. Should it lead to something more damaging, I hope we'll be able to do some damage control while here. If it persists for longer than a week, then we can start the worrying process.

Yes... I seem to recall experiments occasionally lasting longer than one week when I first arrived here, but that hasn't happened for quite a while, now.

The last time it happened was about a year ago. No... actually, I believe the experiment that occurred around Halloween also lasted a long time.

That other memory alteration experiment- the one where everyone believed they were born in this world and related to one another... It lasted ten days as well, didn't it?

It did, although if you recall, we were informed that it was intended for it to last longer.

I'm rather relieved that it didn't. [He's actually a little worried that all the messing with people's memories is going to cause permanent damage, some day. The shorter the experience, the better.]

I think we all can agree on that one. [Yuan may not remember, but she had rushed into a marriage under those conditions. It was absolutely ridiculous.]
