[Now that the experiment is over and he's back to his usual self, Yuan's noticed quite a few things that are off today. Missing a week's worth of memories isn't helping. Well, first things first...]

[He isn't certain how much of a need there is for this; the person Zoisite associated with the most was sent home quite some time ago. Other than that, his housemate was about as social as Yuan himself. Still, he's obligated to do this, just in case.]

[He'll be inside the house. Though, the way things are now, he's seriously considering moving elsewhere for a while. Mithos knows where he lives and now that the kid has his Cruxis Crystal... Well, no need to do anything drastic just yet.]

[She goes to check there first, since hopefully Yuan wouldn't have had a reason to run all the way to the cave. Even with that experiment.]

[Honestly? If he did run to the cave last week, he doesn't remember. All he remembers is the bodyswap incident with Mithos, but that was the week before that. It gets a bit fuzzy after that, though there wasn't any doubt that Mithos was the one who took his crystal. The guy even confirmed it himself.

That's why, when he answers the door, he looks a little weary.]

... Raine.

... Yuan. [She almost wasn't expecting to find him here, especially after remembering the message he left in the morning about his housemate. But he had another. Didn't he?] May I come in? I have to speak to you...

[Though a pause, as she notices his condition] ... How are you holding up?

... I've been better. [Which is still a gross understatement in this case, but he can't outright say that he's expecting to be attacked at any moment.

He steps aside, allowing Raine to enter. Usually, he'd be seeking out solitude as much as possible when he's distressed, but having some company would probably make him feel more at ease right now. Besides, it sounds like whatever Raine has to discuss is better discussed in the privacy of his home.]

[She looks him over after stepping inside the house. Of course it's probably only fair to let him play host.]

You look worn out.

[He won't be standing still for too long; he's going to lead the way into the kitchen. It's also a nice excuse to avoid meeting Raine's gaze.]

... An unfortunate combination of circumstances. ["I'll be fine"? No, he won't be. Not unless he gets his crystal back. As much as he likes to believe he hadn't grown dependent on it, the sad truth is that he feels a lot less capable without it.]

You don't seem willing to share them.

[Oh Raine, did you honestly expect him to? He won't share his problems unless there's no other way. Instead, he ignores the comment and gestures to the kitchen chairs.]

... What did you want to talk about?

... Mithos.

Have you talked to him recently?

[Yuan's eyes narrow. He's going to assume the worst here, because that's always a safe bet when it comes down to Mithos.] What has he done?

He was attacking people this afternoon. I don't know why, but he seemed to be very angry about something.

Was anyone seriously hurt?

The woman I found had been very bruised up, but I don't doubt there were others. I don't know what to do about this.

[He leans back against the kitchen counter, staring coldly out the window.] ... The best we can do is tell people to stay away from him.

[She sighs a little.] I had hoped the experiment would have had some form of positive toll on him... but perhaps that was a little too much.

At this point, we can't expect anything to have a positive toll on him.

He's outside of his element, Yuan.

Elements don't change his nature. He wouldn't listen to reason before and he won't listen to reason now. Mithos is beyond redemption.

He hasn't been here that long.

He's been here before. Twice, even. Giving him the benefit of the doubt is a foolish thing to do.

I'm aware of that. But both times he wasn't here long enough to really understand the situation... and it isn't as if he remembers.

But once people start being on alert, it might make him more eager to attack them.

Do you honestly think that you can predict how he'll react? That you know him? If he's already attacked someone once, it's just a matter of time until it happens again. People need to be given a fair warning.

I didn't say that I knew him.

Nevermind. You're right. Something will have to be said.

... We can't have people trying to face him on their own. It's best to alert the defense groups and leave it at that for now.
