[Accidental voice]

[The recording starts with a smashing sound, as the journal takes a nice snapshot of the ceiling and part of the underside of a kitchen table. Yuan's voice can clearly be heard nearby. He sounds rather disturbed.]

W-What the hell is this?!

[A short while later, Yuan can be seen striding through the village with great haste. Every so often, he stops to cough mildly, before continuing on his way. His hands are buried deeply into his pockets and his gaze is stubbornly locked on the ground before him.

He's headed straight for Raine's house. Feel free to run into him before he gets there.]


Edit: [And after paying a visit to Raine's house, he'll head for Kratos' place. He's a busy man today.]

[Raine will probably be home by the time he gets there, assuming it's a little later in the day, tending to the plants in the herb and vegetable garden on the side of the house.]

[Oh, it's definitely later in the day. Raine may be able to see him coming from a distance, but he won't speak up until he's standing next to her. He doesn't want to be overheard.]

[She hadn't been looking up, more focused on the plants, though she can tell when he's nearby, and nods to acknowledge him. There's someone she hasn't exactly heard from recently. Hm.]

[It's a shame this isn't a social visit. Yuan's behavior makes that rather obvious. He gives a curt nod to the house.]

[Yuan grumping around isn't a new sight, but he seems to be in an especially bad mood today, and that coughing is enough to get him to raise an eyebrow.]

[He sighs lightly and stops walking. It's amazing how often people ask him this question, apparently expecting any other answer.]

[Kratos has also been busy. He's been holed up in his room and reading a large book on charms, their properties, and the making of them. It's not Dwarven technology, but maybe it'll give him an idea.

Once he hears the knock on his door, Kratos sets it aside and goes to answer it. Presea is out on her own duties, after all, and she won't be back until later. So, he opens the door and...]

Yuan. What brings you here?

[Yuan has been dreading this encounter just a little. If what Raine said is correct, Kratos likely isn't affected by the same symptoms. Even so, it's safest to confront him about it. Just like Yuan, Kratos is prone to hiding weaknesses.

When the door opens, he looks up to meet the man's gaze, nodding his head lightly in greeting.]

We need to talk.

[Whatever the matter is, it's a grave one. Kratos nods, then steps back and opens the door further to allow him inside. He'll make some coffee or something.]

[Yuan won't say no to some coffee right now. His throat's awfully dry, so anything to drink would be nice. He'll take a seat while Kratos busies himself, stifling a mild cough.]
