[Attentive villagers may have seen bright beams of light originating from the far reaches of the forest, where the mountain range starts. Those beams were a result of this battle, and directly after it's taken place, Yuan has a message to broadcast to the entire village. His voice sounds hoarse and he seems to be out of breath.]

The threat known as Aku... has been defeated. For now... at least. [He stops to cough for a moment.] Once the Malnosso bring him back, there'll be... hell to pay.

[The public message ends with some fumbling sounds.]

I need you to get over here... Immediately. It's an emergency.

All right.

[He'll be at the clinic, then. Trying not to fall asleep just yet. Kratos is in the bed next to him, but he's unconscious for certain, so he won't be able to greet Svala when she arrives.]

[Svala does in fact run there, though it's not very dignified of her to do so. She's somewhat breathless when she finally arrives and approaches slowly, not wanting to wake Kratos. Damn it man, you are not allowed to be wounded!

Yuan doesn't look much better though, and it's with a heavy heart that she moves a chair over to the side of Kratos' bed, across from Yuan.]

[He'll watch her for a while, feeling like he's intruding on a private moment. Not that it matters much, considering Kratos is out like a light, but it's still awkward. After a minute or so, he feels the need to say something anyway.]

He'll be fine. He's hard to kill. [And Yuan should know.]

[She nods; Svala is hardly squeamish, after all. She runs a powerful empire with a powerful army, and her second son made a steady habit out of getting wounded. Still...depressing.

Not so much that she can ignore Yuan sitting there and trying not to fall over unconscious though.]

I do not wish to be overbearing, but perhaps you should rest.

[She hesitates for a moment, reaching out to take Kratos' hand gingerly and start doing her vibe thing so he can have a peaceful...um, unconsciousness. Since he doesn't really sleep.]

May I ask why you both attacked Aku?

[He'd just closed his eyes again when Svala speaks up again. Ugh, she just had to ask, didn't she?]

He was causing landslides in the mountains. Such great power... Had to be stopped.

[You suit yourself, stubborn man. Svala will hum and remain silent beside Kratos then. Maybe if she doesn't start any conversation with him he'll drift off and rest properly.]
