[Attentive villagers may have seen bright beams of light originating from the far reaches of the forest, where the mountain range starts. Those beams were a result of this battle, and directly after it's taken place, Yuan has a message to broadcast to the entire village. His voice sounds hoarse and he seems to be out of breath.]

The threat known as Aku... has been defeated. For now... at least. [He stops to cough for a moment.] Once the Malnosso bring him back, there'll be... hell to pay.

[The public message ends with some fumbling sounds.]

I need you to get over here... Immediately. It's an emergency.

[She'll let him down slowly, then. And she doesn't entirely let go, supporting him in case he's too weak to stand up by himself.]

[Either way, he'll just keep one hand on Diana's shoulder as a clear indication that he needs her support until he gets to a bed.]

[She slowly makes her way into the clinic, Yuan in tow. She leads him to the first bed available.]

[Perfect. He'll sit down on the bed and make himself comfortable on his own.]

You're welcome. [She casts a glance at Kratos.] I hope your friend will be all right.

[He follows her gaze, frowning mildly.] I hope so as well.

[She turns back to look at him.] Can you take it from here? Or do you want me to stay?

[He glances down at his hands for a moment. They're still covered in Kratos' blood, though it's dried by now.]

Can you fetch a wet cloth?

[She nods and goes off to do just that.]

[In the meantime, he casts one last glance at Kratos before lying down on the bed completely. All in all, they could've ended up in a worse condition.]

[Diana heads back in a few moments, handing the cloth to Yuan. She sits across from him.]

[He starts scrubbing the blood off his fingers, purposely not meeting Diana's eyes. She probably wants to know what happened out there, but Yuan doesn't feel like explaining. Not right now, anyway. He's exhausted.]

[Well, she heard his announcement about the defeat of Aku and put two and two together. She is curious, but she knows now is probably not the right time to ask.]

You should get some rest now. Feel free to contact me if you need anything else.

Hmm. [He finishes cleaning his hands and tosses the cloth towards the nightstand.] Thanks.

You're welcome. [...She doesn't want to just leave him like this, so-] I'll come back to check on you in a few hours.

There's no need for that. [He's looking forward to a good rest. He doesn't want people hovering over him, then.]

Are you sure? [She's confident that the healers are perfectly capable of taking care of him, though.]

[Why do people keep asking him this? Does he really look that frail to them? He shakes his head softly.] Yes, I am. You've done enough for me already.

[It's called concern for a friend, Yuan.]

...If you insist.

[But "friend" is such a strong word. He likes to think of Diana as more of an... associate. He leans back against the pillow, closing his eyes.]

... I'm fine. Really.

[Next thing you know, he'll start calling her a "respected colleague" just like a certain pointy-eared superhero.

She starts walking towards the entrance.] Well, if you suddenly decide that you're not fine, don't hesitate to call.

I'll keep that in mind. [Though if something's up, he'll probably contact Martel, now that he's back in the village. No offense, Diana, but his girlfriend can use healing magic.]

She stands by the doorway, nodding to him before taking off into the air.]
