If I ever catch either of you near Martel again, I won't hesitate to run you through. Consider this a fair warning.

[Of course, telling two murderous assholes to back off is like inviting them to your doorstep, which is exactly where Yuan will be. Well, his front lawn, to be more precise. If they are stupid enough to show up, at least he'll have a nice excuse to follow through with his threat. As much as Martel insists these guys have been punished enough, Yuan wouldn't mind having them pay a bit more.

If you happen to be passing by house #8, feel free to bug him. He doesn't seem to be doing much besides sitting on the grass and sketching something on a piece of paper.]

So it's still up to the Malnosso to figure that out. All we can do is tighten our belts and survive in this fish bowl.

[And he's not necessarily just talking about the Third Party.]

There's been talk of establishing some sort of justice system here to deal with the threats within the barrier. Is such a thing really possible here?

"How far they're willing to go," indeed. There's also the question of what good it will do. Whether they lock up the criminals or kill them, they'll just keep coming back.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-05-03 06:07 pm (UTC)(link)
That's already been done. Naoya and Dilandau were locked up for the murder they committed, but I don't know if they're still in there. And I remember when the Medic had been imprisoned for his act.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-05-03 06:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes...they were talking about additional punishments while the former two were locked up, but I doubt anything was decided.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-05-03 06:17 pm (UTC)(link)
They were going to let the general population decide...which is likely why no decision has been made.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-05-03 06:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Tell that to the Justice League; they were the ones who were talking about it.

From what I've heard, this "Batman" person has a tough bite.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-05-03 06:43 pm (UTC)(link)
[Yeah, Jay doesn't exactly rely on Batman either, or anyone else for that matter. On the other hand, he does know that Batman is not one to be messed with. And now Jay is intrigued at Yuan's smirk.]

Are you planning on challenging him?

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-05-03 06:55 pm (UTC)(link)
[Hey, devious smirks often indicate an intention to either challenge or betray someone.]

You wouldn't consider yourself part of the general population, would you? You would just do your own thing regardless?

I feel the same way.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-05-03 07:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed. Everyone does their own thing, really.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2010-05-03 07:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh yes, I remember that. Did anything even come out of that meeting?
