In case you hadn't already noticed, the new arrivals have been very interesting so far. Aside from Noishe, the Centurion of Darkness has appeared. He's told me a few interesting matters I need to discuss with you. Preferably in person.

Considering what we know about the tunnels now, we need someone who is fast under their own power. And capable of carrying supplies without losing most of that speed.

Exactly. He's a creature from my world called a "Protozoan". He looks similar to a large dog, and is quite capable of carrying heavy objects or people on his back. Plus, he's already offered to go into the desert either way. We might as well make use of that.
