[It's been two days since Yuan was returned from his most recent kidnapping and did something very stupid. His memories are still as faulty as the moment when he returned, though he has been filled in on the basic situation by now. The real situation, and not some garbled version his mind might concoct at the moment.

Thanks to this state, he's allowed himself to be tricked by some evil little madman and hurt an innocent person. Not to mention that ridiculous assumption he jumped to when he saw Sheena. What if something like that happens again? Raine advised him to stay in the clinic until the kidnap effect wears off, but he's far too restless for that. Magical amnesia or not, Yuan will be Yuan.

Now he's sitting outside the plaza clinic, watching people as they pass and keeping an eye out for a familiar face- any familiar face. He keeps wondering what else he's forgotten and while stray memories surface from time to time, some of them are actually from experiments. He just can't tell what's real and it's pissing him off.]

...Yuan?

[Yuan had seen Kratos coming and already his eyebrows have contracted into a frown. This is definitely a familiar face. It's confirmed when the man calls him by his name. Sadly, just like with Mithos, he's blanking on a name. His eyes close for a few seconds as he tries to remember something- anything that might help.

He remembers instances of fighting this man. Yet, at the same time, he remembers fighting alongside him. Which of these memories are real? Or are they, perhaps, both real? Which memories are more important? Is this person friend or foe?

He decides to stay on the safe side for now and assume foe. He's not about to make the same mistake twice.]

... Hm?

You left without a trace from the house over two weeks ago. I... have wondered where you could have gone.

... The house?

[What house? Is he living in the same house as this man? He can't even picture himself living in a house. All he can remember are dark hallways and metal doors that hiss when they open. Maybe if he could see this house, it would jog his memory, but Raine told him to stay in the clinic.]

Do you not remember? We decided that I would move in with you during the discussion we had upon my arrival.

[Well, this isn't good. If he had a housemate, wouldn't Raine have told him about it? Though, now that he thinks about it, he does remember meeting with this man in a restaurant- no, a tea shop. And they discussed a lot of things, because he was new to Luceti. This was a few days before he was kidnapped, wasn't it?

Real memories or not, if it's an enemy, Raine would have warned Yuan. So now he has to ask.]

... Your name. What was it again?

[They don't know each other. Regardless, Jeb's gonna walk past Yuan and trip over his own feet. Looks like sketching and walking at the same time is never a good idea. Focus less on your art and more on your movements, boy.]

[It seems it's been a week of fiascos, hasn't it? Dhaos has yet to replace all the things he destroyed in his apartment over a month ago, and he's discovered that someone has stuffed many of his broken belongings into a cupboard, so back to the item shop it is. He spots Yuan sitting outside the clinic and, having spoken to Sheena about the incident with Mithos, decides he can't really ignore the other man.

And so, here he comes.]

[Spots him when it's too late not to walk past him. Oh damn. What's he going to do this time? Just in case, she tries to hide the hand with the ring on it.]

Uh...hey, Yuan. Feeling any better?

[Kratos... Kratos Aurion! That's right. He is... head of the Tethe'alla Knights? No, not anymore. Wasn't he exiled because he disgraced himself somehow? Because he fraternized with half-elves? What if Yuan was that half-elf? ... Or perhaps that's part of a Luceti experiment. Raine did warn Yuan not to make any more assumptions, because his memories can't be trusted. But it seems so right, somehow.

In any case, Kratos seems a little dejected that Yuan had to ask. He probably owes him an explanation.]

I'm sorry. I can't... [He trails off, rubbing his temple with one hand. Forcing himself to remember things is giving him a headache.] The Malnosso did something to my memories.

[Yuan wasn't really paying attention to Jeb. He disregarded the boy the moment he came to the conclusion his face isn't familiar. That's why he has no time to act when Jeb trips. All he can do is whip his head around the moment he falls to the ground.]

... Are you all right?

It's all right. I suppose I will have to help you to the best of my ability, then.

[At first, Yuan honestly can't decide if he knows this person or not. There's a twinge of familiarity about Dhaos's face, but considering he's apparently been in this village for over three years, he could just as well have seen this man in passing a few times. It isn't until Dhaos says his name that he realizes he must know him from somewhere.]

... Good afternoon. [He says it slowly and somewhat cautiously. There isn't even the slightest idea of what to expect from this man.]

[Oh no, it's her again. He feels ashamed at his behavior a few days ago just thinking about it and it shows on his face.]

Less beat up? Not like the Malnosso just spit you back out?

[He can't remember why he befriended this man, if they are indeed so close. He can't remember ever doing anything for him that would warrant a favor in return. ... Or did he? Didn't he save this man's life?]

My injuries have healed, if that's what you mean.

Ow... [He hears Yuan's voice and manages to sit up, looking toward him.]

Yeah, I'm okay! It was my own fault. [At least he'll admit to it. He gathers his sketchbook and pencil before standing back up, his balance wobbly before returning completely.]

I get too into my sketches sometimes, so I won't be drawing while walking again any time soon!

[...Rather different from Yuan's usual greetings. Dhaos can see how Mithos managed to get him to fight under such circumstances.]

...I was told about what happened.

Regardless of if you remember it or not, we have been companions for far too long for me to do nothing.

That... would be a good idea. [What kind of person draws while walking, anyway? Is that normal here? ... Probably not, considering this kid just learned a valuable lesson.]

You were...? [This really puts a dent in Yuan's pride. He doesn't need people who are seemingly strangers knowing about his screw-ups. Unless this man is referring to something else.]

Yeah, it definitely would be, huh?

[Is this the part where small talk happens? Probably.] Hope you don't mind me asking, but are you waiting for someone, sir?

Companions... [But then where are all these memories of them fighting each other coming from? They're all so different, too. It ranges from arguments to actual swordfights and Yuan's sure he fought with the intent to kill. How can he be sure Kratos isn't tricking him, just like Mithos did?]
