[The hidden question is "Has Mithos been giving you any problems?", but he's not quite that tactless. So this will have to do. Especially after the latest experiment, he wants to be sure she's all right.]

[Action]

[It's been about four months since Kratos disappeared from the enclosure. So much has happened in that time that Yuan's finally coming to terms with something; there's a good chance he'll never truly see the man again. Unless he's returned here in the future, like some others, but Yuan's not holding his breath for that. They'd already said their farewells before coming to Luceti, but back then, there was still a line of communication in case Yuan desperately needed to speak with him. Now there's no way to contact his old friend and he didn't even get to say any parting words this time. A shame, because he could really use some of that trademark Kratos advice right about now.

To make matters worse, some prankster decided to have a bit of fun with Yuan's hair. It used to reach all the way to his waist, but a considerable amount of it was cut off. It can still fit in a ponytail, but now it barely reaches his shoulderblades. Yuan assumes it's Mithos's doing. Considering his track record, it seems like the kind of thing he'd do. Yuan just can't be bothered to yell at him anymore. He'll just have to increase the amount of locks on his door and hope nobody will comment on the sudden change.

Feeling especially restless, he's decided to go see Noishe this afternoon. Perhaps it's because Noishe was Kratos's pet, or perhaps he just has a soft spot for the creature after all. Yuan doesn't even know himself, but it doesn't really matter. Anyone is free to catch him either while he's on his way to the stables between house 42 and Community Building 7, or while he's in the stables.]

[ first it's red hair, now it's blue hair. the people of this village are just so strange.

it's only by following him (it's just curiosity, really!) that Kirsi discovers these stables for the first time. goodness, and she thought she'd seen everything. Noishe is quite a unique thing to witness. ]

This creature... I have never seen such a thing before. What is it? [ she sounds bewildered. and yes, she is talking to you, Yuan, even if you had no idea she was there until she spoke up. ]

[Yuan did notice he was being followed, but he could easily tell it wasn't Mithos or anyone else from his world, so it didn't bother him too much. If it was someone who wanted a fight, he could take them with ease anyway.

Now that he actually turns to face Kirsi, he's a little surprised at what he's seeing. That's why he looks a little dumbstruck for a few seconds, before finally responding.]

... A Protozoan. It's a creature from my home world.

A Protozoan... fascinating. It is such an odd color for a beast. It does not seem natural... but then, it is not from my own world.

[ She does not seem to notice his surprise -- that, or she is simply choosing to disregard it as she stays still, watching Noishe. She does not want to startle the creature, if it is capable of startling. ]

Was it a domesticated animal? Or is it, I should say.

[Oh, Noishe is very capable of being startled. In fact, he seems to be a little nervous. Kirsikka doesn't seem to be a monster, but he's not entirely sure what to think about her. That's why Noishe's paw scrapes the ground nervously, his ears lying a little more flat. That behavior doesn't go unnoticed to Yuan.]

He is. He's simply afraid of strangers.

[ there is a smile in her voice as she tilts her head to look up at Yuan. however, she otherwise keeps still, trying to keep from startling Noishe any further. ] My name is Kirsikka.

[Yuan looks a little dumbstruck for a few seconds, but then he quickly shakes his head.] Merely knowing someone's name doesn't make them any less of a stranger.
