[Voice recording is suddenly flicked on to relay distant footsteps. Then, the slam of a door nearby. You can't see a thing, though, because the camera's aimed at the ceiling.]

[A crackle of lightning is heard and the flickering can probably be seen through the journal. It's not enough to stop the intruders, though. There's a loud slam and a nasty crack. Then the recording stops, because that journal isn't going to be left behind.]
